LETHOCERUS INDICUS’S DIP

Lethocerus indicus is a flat, leaf-like insect with fragrant liquid sacs. Vietnamese people normally mix this liquid with fish sauce to produce a kind of dipping sauce that can be used with bánh cuốn (steamed rice rolls), bún chả (rice noodles with grilled pork), and bún thang (a kind of chicken noodle soup).

Because of its current popularity, it has been harder to maintain supply and its price has risen.
