In conversations, we normally spot “nghen, hen, hén” at the end of sentences.
E.g. “Món này ngon hén?” (This dish is good, isn’t it?)
“Đi chơi vui vẻ hen!” (Have a happy trip!)
“Thôi, tôi về nghen!” (I’ve got to go then!)
“Nghen, hén, hen” in such instances are expletive words, like “nha”. “Hén” is normally used in questions seeking the agreement of other speakers, while “hen, nghen” are used to inform.
