Phụng Sơn Pagoda (District 11) was built in the 19th century, embodying many characteristics of Southern ancient pagoda architecture such as wooden frame, double tiles, sculptures made from rare wood, and engraved gildings.

Phụng Sơn Pagoda has been recognised as “National Historical-Cultural Relic” since 1988.

According to Vietnam History Museum, in the years 1988 and 1991, archeologists found archaeological sites belonging to Ou Kaev culture here.
